原級比較
「as ~ as」
「as 形容詞/副詞 as ～」は、日本語では「～と同じくらい」の意味になります。
比較級や最上級の文では「-er than / more - than」「the -est / the most -」のように、形容詞や副詞を変化させて表しますが、「as」に挟まれる形容詞や副詞はもとの形（＝原級）で表します。

not so 原級 as ...
「...ほど～ではない」
I cannot run as fast as she.
彼女ほど速く走ることはできない
I don't have so many books as you.
あなたほど多くの本は持っていない
No one in the team can run as fast as Amy.
チームの中でエイミーほど速く走れる人はいない
Nothing is as important as time.
時間ほど重要なものはない

as + 形容詞 + a + 名詞
"as"が後に名詞を伴う場合、「as + 形容詞 + a + 名詞」の語順になる。
